Cape Canaveral, Florida – After being postponed for three weeks by tropical storm Fay that unloaded several inches of rain and flooded many areas along the east coast of Florida, promises of sunny skies and calm seas welcomed everyone to the Fish Lips Bar and Grill for the Salty Marine, Canaveral Mac Attack - the final event in the 2008 Division 10 race.

The fifth place check would be won by the Keri-N-On, another Yamaha powered Contender, skippered by Jason Naumann, with Gill Strelec, John Beech and Sam Cory on board. They caught their 35.49 pound fish early on Saturday also fishing about 30 miles southeast of the inlet. They had caught some decent fish in the same area during the last two Mac Attack events and there is “Some great bottom structure to fish over”. Their big kingfish ate a blue runner fished from a kite in over. The fish almost dumped their reel, but Sam was able stop the fish and after a short fight, Gill gaffed their fish. “We would like to thank Scales Offshore Clothing, the Reel Pro Shop and Coastline Marine for all their help and support this year” said Naumann.
