Congratulations to SCALES Pro Team member Tim Maddock, Owner/Captain of Vitamin Sea Too for winning the 2009-2010 regular season of the Sailfish Pro Series! The team battled with some of the top sailfish teams in the world over a 5 event tournament series to prove they are the best and take home winnings of $242,665.00! Vitamin Sea Too will be rewarded for their consistency throughout the year with a bye in the first round of the Sailfish Pro Series Finale to be held April 30 – May 2nd in Miami, FL where an additional $150,000.00 will be up for grabs!

We would also like to congratulate Scales Pro Team member Sandman with
owner Sandra MacMillan and Captain Neil Orange for their 4th place regular
season finish in the 2009–2010 Sailfish Pro Series with $59,365 in
earnings which will advance them into the Sailfish Pro Series Finale.

Congratulations to De-Bait-Able, Get Lit, Advanced Roofing, Wet Dream and
Tagline as they all qualified for the Sailfish Pro Series Finale!

Congratulations to SCALES Pro Team member Cap’t Art Sapp who led the
Kimbuktu fishing team to become the 2009-2010 Bahamas Wahoo Challenge
overall series champions!  The series consists of 3 tournaments taking
place in different locations in the Bahamas running from November until
February.  Kimbuktu was consistent throughout the entire series and
finished strong with a 2nd place finish in the championship leg to secure
the overall series win.

We would also like to congratulate Capt. Matt White along with SCALES Pro
Team member Capt. Nick Cardella who led the Just Cashin’ out of Light
House Point, FL to victory in the 14th Annual, Cove Sailfish Tournament.
The two leading boats hooked fish with minutes until lines out on the
final day, but the Just Cashin’ team released their 10th fish first to
secure the victory and win $18,500.  This event helped raise money for
Michael Brewer, so a special thanks to all of the local fisherman who
donated to this great cause!

Congratulations to SCALES pro team Vitamin Sea Too, with Capt. Tim Maddock, for winning the Sailfish Open last weekend in tough conditions. They finished with 11 sailfish releases over the tournament and took home more than $108k in prize money. SCALES pro team Sandman, with owner Sandra MacMillan and captained by Neil Orange, finished 3rd overall in the tournament with 8 releases (2nd place among Sailfish Pro Series boats) and took home more than $52k.

SCALES pro team members hold 3 of the top 5 positions in the SPS…led by team Vitamin Sea Too, followed by team Sandman in 2nd, and team Qualifier with Capt. Terry Claus is sitting in 5th! Good luck to all teams as the season continues!
