We are proud to be a sponsor of the 23rd Annual CFOA (Central Florida Offshore Anglers) tournament out of Port Canaveral. We had a Scales-sponsored boat enter the one day event, the LOWE TIDE, with anglers Chad Troncale, Brian Lowe, and Sue Black.

The goal was to have Sue take down the ladies division first and then go after the general fish categories. They ran 35 miles out to the edge of the stream with hopes of putting Sue on a monster. After about an hour on the troll, the 15 ripped line and Sue jumped on it. The fight lasted around 20 minutes with some rod-bending action…

and Sue came out on top. After the weigh-in, they decided to go for the general dolphin instead of the ladies since they were sitting on a 38 lb. bull. At that time the team was in first place, when it was all over the LoweTide held on to 3rd in the overall dolphin category. The ladies winner took top prize with a 20 pound fish, it’s safe to say Sue would have taken that down easily. Congratulations to all of the top teams, the CFOA put on a great tournament and we were happy to be a part of it.
