Partnering with Louis Oosthuizen

In January, SCALES Gear announced a multi-year sponsorship of professional golfer and major champion, Louis Oosthuizen, beginning this year. We knew that once we launched our SCALES Offshore Country Club Collection, it wouldn't take long for the pros to notice. “SCALES Gear could not be more excited to partner with Louis,” said Matt Williams, CEO of SCALES Gear. “Given Louis’ storied career and entertaining personality, our shared love for the outdoors, and the new collection, we felt this was a unique, perfectly timed opportunity to bring in an elite PGA Tour player who will serve as our first global ambassador. We have watched Louis’ career intently and we are looking forward to having him represent SCALES Gear on a global stage." It will be exciting to see smooth swinging Louis Oosthuizen sporting the SCALES Offshore Country Club collection as he kicks off his 2022 PGA Tour season!

A Sparkling Career

Louis Oosthuizen turned pro at the age of 19 and has since notched 14 professional wins over his career. In 2010, he won the Open Championship at St. Andrews, finishing the tournament at 16 under and setting a 36-hole record of 132. He would top that mark last summer, shooting 129 over two days. In addition to his Open Championship, he has 10 top-ten finishes in major tournaments, including a runner-up in the Masters and two each in the US Open and PGA Championship. He also has 3 top-three finishes in 2021 alone. “I am honored to join Team SCALES and represent the brand on and off the course,” said Oosthuizen. “Joining such a fun, distinctive brand is thrilling and motivating, I am excited to get the 2022 PGA Tour season underway.”
